Hello to all and hello 2022! I hope everyone is going well and kicking! Glory to God for his blessings despite all that happened.
2021 has been one hell of ride. I’ve been stressed for the past six months, mentally and physically. I took a test even I know myself I wasn’t ready yet as I thought I was rushed by my rep and I know it was my fault and I have nothing to complain about. (sigh) I been rushing things, doing things without thinking and overthink things sometimes that I made it complicated. Pretending to be okay and happy even if I was not but praise God despite of everything had happened I consider myself blessed.❣
Too many plans but nothing went as planned, I mean I’m just over reacting one quarter of it didn’t go well, but it’s okay I can still do that and resume it this year 😀 and God willing ✈! We still have a lot of days, weeks and months to come so let us all look forward to it and be better. As well as might remind myself to do well, to take care of myself and to fill my heart with faith, love & hope as I been telling to others. ❤
Moving forward, I hope 2022 will bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements, and many new inspirations to everyone’s life. God bless!
Cheers to all and more writingssss to come. 😉
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 NIV
In the past days, weeks and month, what are you grateful for?
There are times when we feel like we cannot be grateful about anything in our lives. Not happy with the job or company, don’t like the colleagues, the boss does not treat you right, or losing a job or bored and not happy with your life or feeling burned out can contribute to one’s negative attitude. Experiencing financial loses can hurt deeply. Enduring physical or mental health challenges can drive us to feel hopeless. Missing your family or loved one because you feel like you’re alone, or feeling guilty because you’re not a help of your family and you will start asking yourself why are these things happening to me, why me? And now you want to be alone wallowing in self-pity. Sad to say that such thinking and feeling does makes us miserable. Yes indeed and trust me I’ve been there.
Life unexpected difficulties can make us forget that there is much for which to be thankful and grateful. It makes us forget that sometimes God’s blessings are not in what he gives, but in what He takes way because He knows best and we just have to trust Him.
We often heard people say “Sometime it’s okay not to be okay.” Yes indeed it is okay. It’s okay if you want to cry, to be angry, and to feel negative emotions. It’s normal, because having emotions and feelings makes you human. But after embracing your emotion why don’t you empty your mind of all thoughts. Let your heart and mind be at peace. Make time to reflect and nourish your soul.
As I’ve discovered and realized during these pandemic and lock-down. I start asking myself, despite of what is happening right now what am I grateful for? I jot down some thoughts…
A roof over my head and warm home.
Family, friends and flat mates, colleagues, bosses and the company.
Good health .
The kindness of people.
Enjoying the little and simple things of my life that God has made.
The last part hit me hard because I realized there are so much things in life that’s need to be appreciated. Like every day when you wake up is already a blessings. Like I always say “di bale nang walang tulog basta maraminggising”. Every day is a new day and you will start again with your life. Every day is a new chapter and a new story of your life. You will wake up the next day and you will see your family, siblings or roommates. You will see the sunrise/sunlight. You can smell, you can feel the air. Or you face the mirror and you will see how you looks or how God created you. J All little things can make you smile. Amazing isn’t it?
So when you feel alone or sad try to make that a time to reflect on yourself and think of it more in a positive way, in God’s way. Then that loneliness can become happier.
Let me share with you some of my favorite verses whenever I feel down.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.” Philippians 4:6
“And if God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8
"I consider myself that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “ plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11
If you feel down and alone please talk to HIM (Our Lord Jesus Christ) because He is the only one who can answer and solve everything.
How often you have been asked by your relatives, friends or colleagues if you are in a relationship? How long you have been single?
Or why are you not married yet and why are you still single? Awkward to answer, isn’t it? Or you find it irritating? And for that reason you are now in a rush to find someone to be with because you don’t want to be asked or you don’t want people think you are not good enough to have someone in your life. Or worse you’re not that pretty and nobody likes you. So sad people think that way and that’s the reality.
But Hey! It’s okay! It’s not that sad or lonely to be alone. Maybe it is not yet your time. Or maybe you have just learned that is okay to love yourself first.
Let me share this with you, a Life lesson form Shawn McKenzie. It talks about how you are blessed and happy to be single (for now). I hope it will help and inspires you too. Please take time to read as this is all for us women/man out there. And let me know how it feels after reading this message.

How to wait for the right man /women from God?
Enjoy where you are. Embrace the season you’re in. Trust me; it’s very well worth the wait. There are people who are currently in relationships and married wishing they could be in your current situation. The Bible tells us to be anxious for nothing but in prayer and supplication. Don’t be anxious for a man. Don’t be anxious for a woman. Don’t rush the timing and plan for God for your life by stepping out the step. The Bible says the steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord. Stay in step!
As crazy as this may sound… It’s a blessing to have your heart broken now. It’s a blessing to cry over someone who left and mistreated you now. It’s a blessing that someone suddenly stopped talking to you now. . It’s a blessing to go through the process. Compared to some people who are deep in a relationship where time and energy were invested. It takes longer to heal from that experienced. Especially, if children are involved. Thank God for the small trials.
Lastly, never! Never! Never… Compromise your standards for any man or woman. There are no “but’s” or “what if’s”. There’s no need to give a hopeless doubtful situation an opportunity – flee! Stop playing with the devil. If you two are not equally yoked nothing goes passed friendship. And sometimes you can’t be friends. Don’t get caught up in trying to evangelize your lust with someone into a Godly relationship, it won’t work. I promise you, your plan will fail and you will suffer for your actions. You cannot change anyone! That’s God’s job. The person has to be willing to change. Jesus doesn’t force Himself upon no man.
If you’re single you’re in a very good position than most. Continue to allow Christ to work on you and prepare your heart. When it’s your season, you will know.♥
